The Farm
Santo Stefano is a family-run organic farm of ancient origin. Since the 1700s the Bernardini family has dealt with high-quality production of wine and olive oil handing down the love for the land and its produce from one generation to the next one.
Guests are welcome to stay in three lovely small houses and a private villa for vacation rentals, which were used in the past as shelters for the agricultural activities and have now been completely renovated by keeping their traditional Tuscan building features untouched.
Farmhouse Holydays
Every apartment includes kitchen, restroom, air conditioning, wifi, and a private outdoor area: each one with its own magnificent panoramic view over the Valle di Chio (Chio Valley), with the medieval town of Castiglion Fiorentino, and the Valdichiana valley (from Arezzo to Siena) in the background.
The common lawn area elegantly frames the swimming pool (5m x 12m ft) and solarium with sun chairs and umbrellas for an infinite relax. An outdoor wood-fired BBQ station is available for guests to enjoy company with memorable cookouts, as well as a large patio to dine and soak up the tranquillity of the summer nights.
On the same property, Villa Sole is an exclusive residence with its own private access, swimming pool and hot tub directly overlooking the Valley panorama, with solarium and lawn featuring tables, chairs and sun chairs. The house with its 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and outdoor patios, is perfectly suited for groups (8 to 10 guests maximum) who desire to experience a totally private vacation.
Organic farming
The organic farm, located in the very heart of the beautiful Valle di Chio, within the province of Arezzo, produces wine and DOC Vinsanto, late harvest wine as well organic extra-virgin olive oil with great passion and thoroughness. All of our produce comes from organic farming.
Situated at 400 m.a.s.l., the farm extends over an exceptionally lonely and peaceful land and offers an unrivalled view onto the whole valley.
